Restoring OVH VPS with non-profit directory of doctors

Hi HN,

We’re in urgent need of help with our OVH account, which was locked due to a billing issue. The account hosted a non-profit public directory of medical professionals—a community-driven platform helping people find trusted doctors, with thousands of unique comments and contributions from users.

We had also been paying OVH for backups, but it turns out that this was the only backup, and we’ve now lost access to it.

We've tried reaching OVH support, but haven't received help yet. We’re hoping someone here might know a contact inside OVH or offer advice. Our requests:

This data serves the public good and the loss would be devastating—not just for us, but for everyone who relied on it.

Any help or visibility is greatly appreciated.
