Since when is 5k a couple? Volvo is selling these while companies like Tesla are cough asleep at the wheel. I think the article mentioned 140 Tesla semis sold.

They're tooling up the new Semi factory in Nevada (next to their first Gigafactory) and it has 50000 units/year volume production capacity.

Cool. Sure. Considering they promised 5,000 units to Pepsi and UPS in 2017 and have delivered barely 100.

Just more of Musk kicking cans down the road.

5k over 6ish years when volvo sells well over 100k ice a year. It doesnt look like they are even selling 1 % electric a year yet.
