why?

Because it is. Cold marketing drivel without even so much as a 'Show HN' from a relatively new user with previous form. Please cease and desist polluting this place. Scribble on your own home's walls instead.

Skype’s classic consumer calling is gone, but millions still need to phone banks, clients or family who don’t use apps. So we built Ubophone.

• 100 % browser-based – no installs, no plugins • Call mobiles or landlines in 200+ countries • Pay-only-for-what-you-use (rates from $0.02/min) • No contracts, hidden fees or auto-renewals • First call free – takes 30 sec to test

Call clients, banks, government offices, or any number worldwide. Pay only for what you use. No contracts or hidden fees.

If you’ve been missing Skype’s pay-per-minute feature, give Ubophone a try and tell us what you think!
