Show HN: I made a tool to help turn Rails apps into Once-like apps and sell them

I’ve built a few small Rails apps over the years as hobby projects. I was interested in selling them as one-time-purchase, self-hosted products, similar Campfire and Writebook.

To make that easier, I built a tool called Discode. It handles packaging, licensing, and installation. I’m also using it to sell Discode itself.

If you’ve ever built a Rails app and wondered how to turn it into a downloadable/sellable product, this might be useful.

I recorded two short videos that show how it works:

Would appreciate any feedback. Happy to answer questions!
