CDC grant funding is moving so slowly layoffs are happening

Unsurprising result of replacing Federal employees who have experience and expertise with either loyalists who possess neither, or no one. Seeing the U.S. cede its eminence in the area of health science research in the name of cost shifting or god knows what form of anti-intellectualism has taken root, is beyond sad.

Surely all of the research will pick right back up once they finish finding and removing the woke. As far as we know right now it could be hiding anywhere. Better to nuke the United State's scientific and academic communities from orbit, it's the only way to be sure.

(but seriously, this regime's demand of political-allegiance-first is our modern Lysenkoism, more than the memetic proclivities of the scientific community could have ever been. Remember, every criticism levied by the fascists is actually only a problem to them when their team isn't getting to do it.)
