Show HN: I built tarotpunk – the tech bro tarot deck

Hi HN,

Introducing tarotpunk, the world’s first tech bro tarot deck. Telling your fortune on what’s missing for your startup, every step along the way. Align your strategy and intuition for the best course of action.

SF is a place where fame, wealth, and status rule. Startups are rewarded for the risks most do not dare take, and yet, yields the worst character flaws that’s widely accepted.

Every founder dreams to be a part of it, but the reality is, can most founders even handle the everyday before the glory?

The moments when uncertainty takes over, burn rate makes you lose sleep, behind on shipping product, making customers mad, and juggling a team to go from zero to one. These are the moments where one’s character is tested the most.

The artwork for tarotpunk is inspired by the 8 fatal flaws of San Francisco. You can see them across the images and in the deck.

Ideas Guy – Always brainstorming, and never shipping Control Freak – Can’t delegate, and burns the team out Status Obsessed – Optimizes for clout, but never impact Brilliant but Lazy – Talent wasted on comfort Insecure – Operates from fear Closed Off – Does not let ppl in Greedy – Chases exits, and forgets people ⁉ No Usability – Builds genius no one understands
