I just wish we could wish we just get along. There must be so so much pain for the ( basic average ) people on both sides of these conflicts.

Kind of like how this LA hair salon was founded in 1995:

Jokes aside, at least your examples were formed prior, unlike ISIS the payment system :-)

>In November 2010, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon officially announced a joint venture known as Isis, which planned to develop a near-field communications-based mobile payments platform. The venture also announced partnerships with Discover Financial for access to its point-of-service network, and Barclaycard as a card issuer. The company stated that it planned to "introduce its service in key geographic markets during the next 18 months"... in September 2014, the service was renamed "Softcard", as the name "Isis" had gained negative connotations due to its association with the terrorist organization

Can I interest you in the story of https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Isis ?

Prominent in funeral rites eh? I'm a fan of goth girls.

Destroying Iran's nuclear enrichment facilities was never the real goal, it's just a convenient casus belli (the same as WMDs in Iraq). Ted Cruz openly stated in an interview last week that the goal is regime change in Iran.

The goal with these preliminary strikes is to get Iran to retaliate, and use that as justification for further escalation.

I’d argue the initial strikes was a cover to exfiltrate the scientists and understand how far along they were and get intelligence about locations of the fissile material and target it.

For Israel, the strategic goal has always been to stop the endangering of Israel and their citizen by Iran.

Cruz is an attention whore. I wouldn't trust him if he said one plus one is two if it got him air time

Americans own Defense Intelligence Agency’s leaked classified report contradicts this report and suggests Iran has only been set back by a few months.

They were saying on NPR this morning that DIA doesn't incorporate all sources (eg: no HUMINT/SIGINT from CIA/NSA).

It might be where based on things like satellite photos they cannot draw certain conclusions that are unable to be discussed publicly due to blowing a source.

The GP said two things: "leaked" and "classified". For that reason, I strongly suspect that "unable to be discussed publicly due to blowing a source" is the reason for anything... unless you think it was "leaked" as a deliberate misdirection.

As I said in my previous statement, the journalist said that they made their assessment using only things like satellite data and that folks like NSA/CIA might have a different take but it would not be discussed in public due to the nature of HUMINT.

So imagine someone leaks a report that doesn't use all available sources to bolster their side of a story or because they lack the theory of mind to understand it's not the bombshell they think it is.

I don't know how to write this out more simply for you.
