Apple Developer Video: Meet Liquid Glass

I have to admit, for a bit I wasn’t sure if that was a parody or the real video.

The original YouTube thumbnail's reading as "Liquid ass" (because of the placement of the play icon over the "Gl…") was a welcome bit of poetic justice.

This is really sophisticated, like lie Aqua from OS X. Going to be very difficult for Google to copy, making them look primitive for years.

So then why did I start looking for an Android phone to replace my iPhone after I saw this video?

It's important to justify the hardware upgrades of each generation of iPhone.

To be fair, they are supporting devices as old as iPhone 11 from 2019 which I think is very good.

I do hope they fix the legibility issues for text heavy content though. For example, on their homepage, their screenshot of the notifications screen looks impossible to read:

*It's important to slow down older iPhones so people have to buy a new one

Apple yet again blurring the line between reality and satire. This video took me back to the classic https://scoopertino.com/apple-blasts-into-supermarkets-with-... (this site has some good ones)
