This seems really, really poor to me. There's no motivation, no visualization, no explanation, just a bunch of apparently arbitrary definitions, with neither examples nor applications.
Well the stuff he has listed is extremely basic operations and there is really not much more to explain there. I already knew this but for somebody who has never seen this or touched math in a while may find it helpful...
