Ask HN: Local AI for Handwriting Transcription?
Is it possible to teach an AI to privately read one's digitized handwritten journals on an off the shelf late model Mac? If you're done it, please share how to.
- Online demo: https://webdemo.myscript.com/views/text/index.html
- Works on Mac, offline.
- Not sure if it can convert handwritten journals you've already written.
- (Also not trained on your specific handwriting, but I found it pretty good)
- I haven't use this app, but I've used their keyboard that works on an iPhone 13 mini. Powered by the same MyScript engine.
