Show HN: Planitly – AI Trip Planner, Now More Personalized and Powerful
planitly.com
Since then, I've been hard at work refining the AI, expanding features, and making travel planning even more effortless.
The Core Problem We Solve: Travel planning is often a fragmented and overwhelming process. Most people want a personalized trip that reflects their unique style, but don't have the hours to research and stitch it all together.
Planitly's Approach: We use AI to give you a detailed, personalized travel itinerary in minutes. Just tell us where you're going, for how long, and your general vibe (e.g., 'foodie adventure,' 'historical deep-dive,' 'family fun').
Key Improvements Since Last Time:
More Granular Personalization: Our AI now better understands and incorporates nuanced preferences (e.g., "I prefer walking tours over museums," "find me local cafes, not chains"). Enhanced Recommendation Quality: We've [improved our data sources / refined our AI algorithms] to provide even better suggestions for activities, restaurants, and hidden gems. [Mention another significant improvement, e.g., UI/UX overhaul, faster generation, TripAdvisor integration as highlighted on your homepage]. [Optional: Address specific past HN feedback if it led to a noticeable change]. Features Highlighted on Planitly:
Smart Trip Planning: AI-powered personalized itineraries. Easy Trip Sharing: Share plans with a link. Real-time Recommendations: (If this is a live feature during the trip). TripAdvisor Integration: Access trusted reviews directly. Our Model (Starter vs. Founder's Pass): Planitly offers a Starter (free) plan so you can experience the core planning magic. The Founder's Pass ([link to pricing/details]) is for users who want [e.g., unlimited plans, advanced features, to support our development]. It's currently a [one-time payment / subscription].
I'd Love Your Feedback On:
The overall user experience and ease of generating a plan. The quality and relevance of the AI-generated recommendations. Our pricing model and the value offered in the Founder's Pass. Any features you feel are missing for an AI travel planner. Excited to hear your thoughts!
