RFK Jr. Knows Amazingly Little About Autism

There's nothing amazing about it.

> seemed designed to set up Kennedy “as the ‘savior’ to the autism community” when he claims to have discovered its cause. The notion that there is a single cause of autism is, to put it mildly, not at all backed up by the decades of research on this highly complex diagnosis.

But RFK didn’t say that autism had a single cause. Mother Jones said it was like RFKs speech was designed to set him up as the person that found this cause, and Mother Jones is only arguing with Mother Jones in saying this is incorrect.

Irrespective of one’s opinion of RFK, this is a textbook example of a straw man argument.
