Sort of like all those cheap used cars we could buy during the COVID supply chain disruption...?
I'm on board for the overall gist of the article (recycling old tech is very viable for most people these days), but the framing of this message around tariffs making new tech much more expensive just seems to ignore basic supply and demand factors which would pretty obviously drastically increase the prices of used tech.
