I worked at companies that were well run, then acquired by a company where the leadership was blatantly dishonest and it quickly spread throughout the company. Managers emulate other managers and previously open and honest managers changed over time.
I worry about that when it comes to the corruption in the executive branch / their disregard for the law and so on trickling down through the government.
Yup, it’d be a real shame if the president abused his power to go after political enemies, and then had the evidence destroyed, or maybe allowed his family members to enrich themselves off his power and then granted them pardons in the last days of his presidency.
