Show HN: I made a tool to extract YouTube transcripts and skip the fluff

Hi the contact page on your site does not work.

Hi, sorry for that. We've fixed it. And if you have any questions, feel free to drop us an email: support@transcriptgenerator.org

Hey HN,

I watch a lot of YouTube, mostly to learn. But I kept running into the same problem. I didn’t want to sit through a 30 minute video just to find that one part I needed.

Most transcript tools I found were either behind a paywall, required an account, or just didn’t work well.

So I built YouTube Transcript Generator, a tool that gives you the full transcript of any YouTube video in seconds.

Why I built it:

- Save time by turning long videos into text that’s easy to scan and search

- Make learning from video easier and more efficient

It works with any public YouTube video that has captions, whether autogenerated or manual. You can read the transcript, search specific parts, or download it in different formats.

I hope it helps you as much as it has helped me. Any feedback is welcome.

Any plans on making it open source?

that looks like a future sales home page for me, just missing the pricing section :)
