The Convention on the Rights of the Child has been signed by everyone and ratified by everyone except the United States who played an active role in the drafting of the convention.

Israel ratified the convention in 1991

Iran ratified it too, but famously has significant problems with child slavery. In fact if you go down the list of signatories you get the sense that maybe this thing isn't worth the paper it's written on.

Don't call it child slavery, that sounds terrible! Lets call it espousing pro-early employment views.
