Out of curiosity (and boredom), I trained a specialized AI image model on photos of my dog to see what would happen. I ended up creating a website around it —PetPicture AI— that turns your pet into stylized characters like astronauts, knights, pirates, etc.

It started as a side project, but people have actually started using it for gifts, memorial portraits, and just for fun. The AI model gets fine-tuned on your specific pet, so the results are surprisingly personal.

It raised a few interesting questions for me:
