Deporting people before trial, during trial and legal process, sending US citizens and residents with paperwork approval offshore, rescinding their rights arbitrarily or in defiance of Judicial ruling, ignoring basic rights, thats shit too, but it's different to what happens to somebody when sentenced to incarceration.
Who has jurisdiction over these prisoners? Apparently, no one. The goal is to disappear them into a legal black hole.
