Background music: When the wrong tune drains workplace energy and focus

I'm someone who generally can't tune out music - but I really struggle with repetitive plays.

Hit songs are simplistic and they get embedded in me after a few listens. The next time I hear it, it will feel like I just heard it.

Clearchannel legacy rock playlists are pure torture. Every song hits me like I've been listening to it for hours.

I feel so bad for any employees who have to listen to Christmas music at their job.

The problem is that the "right" tune is different for different people.
