Show HN: Gym Rat, my open source Notion powered fitness app. It works on my TV!

Hi HN! I got into fitness a few years ago and recently moved, leaving behind my beloved local gym. I couldn’t find anything that suited my goals and schedule, so I decided to built out my own home gym. I was surprised to find how hard it was to find any software I liked to make good workouts - anything close cost as much as a gym membership itself! Gym Rat was born from trying to make it simple and fun.

I started my gym with two weights, a kettlebell and a resistance band, so I know the app can scale up or down to any regime. While the mobile experience needs work, I have used it for when I’m traveling and it still does the job.

I’m putting it out there in case anyone else might find value in it. I’d welcome your ideas or feedback. I don’t have plans to monetize it - that’s not my goal - nor do I want to put other paid apps out of business. This was a side project I just decided to put a little TLC into and hope others might get something out of it, too.

LMK what you think!
