FortNine videos are my favorite videos on YouTube. You're short changing them by just leaving the link without a description or title.

The video title is "Tesla Autopilot Crashes into Motorcycle Riders - Why?"

The amazing part is the one guy who created this video covered all insightful comments here in HN in one concise video 2 years ago.

Considering how much FSD has improved in the last few months, a 2 year old video is not relevant.

Not relevant to what? Those people are still dead.

The shortcomings of 2 year old software is not relevant, because that's not what the cars run now.

What evidence do you have that Tesla has meaningfully improved the software to fix the referenced issues since then?

Evidence is a strong word. But based on personal driving, other drivers comments, and seeing tests by channels like Dirty Tesla and Chuck Cook, you can tell the difference between current FSD v13, and what we had 2 years ago (v10 or v11) is absolutely gigantic.

By this argument, since Tesla regularly updates the software, no one can discuss the weaknesses in their self driving software.

I never said that. Just discuss the current version or at least something recent (any v13 version).

Yeah but you see this goalpost moving all the time when talking Tesla. Every time someone says something is wrong, people will say "But what about the latest version" or "this will be fixed in the next version". Meanwhile, you can still find video on YouTube of cars on the latest version veering into oncoming traffic.

Other peoples lives are a sacrifice some drivers alpha testing their cars firmware are willing to make.

Just amazing to me how blind people are to how much of a fraud Musk is

cause it is a cult following, not blindness…

The main critique in the video is related to the hardware, specifically the lack of LIDAR.

It's just like Mark Robers video[1], where he makes all these wild claims that you can't solve X issue without LIDAR and tests an old version of Autopilot. When another user correctly tests with the latest hardware and software, it passes the test[2].
