MCP is Anthropic's Model Context Protocol (https://www.anthropic.com/news/model-context-protocol), which intends to be a standard method for AI models to communicate.

Amazon is a one of Anthropic's main backers, hosting their infrastructure, much as Microsoft is a big backer of OpenAI by hosting ChatGPT on Azure.

Thanks, the documentation tried very hard to avoid defining what MCP stands for.

You will never catch me giving my AWS keys to AI agents. I don't need that stress.

None of these require anything more than read access, and are for human assistance rather than replacement. If people are blindly accepting CDK updates without review, they probably shouldn't be in charge of IaC at all.
