IMO it's a pure waste of time to react to the headline without engaging the content.

Normally I agree, but this is a Lamport talk. His stuff is pretty much always worth engaging with. I have learned more from his writings than nearly any other human in my life.

No it doesn't. The headline is ambiguous and you inserted your own biases without confirming they align with the real world.

After reading the whole thing I'm not sure how the title describes the presentation.

450 page (slide) PDF. We need a tl;dr on the tl;dw.

Some slides are just a series with text slowly revealed. If merge them down is <1/5 of this number (the page counting ends with 41 which should've been 42 since ending slide is distinct from previous).

Presentation showcases how coding is just a part of programming, and at a point states it explicitly:

>Programming should be thinking followed by coding.

Maybe if nouns were switched, i.e. Programming Isn't Coding, will've been better.

Those words are nearly synonymous to me. Perhaps "Programming isn't thinking"?
