Includes a NT synchronization primitive driver for faster games, new read balancing methods for Btrfs RAID1, support of uncached buffered I/O, a file pre-access notification event, a cgroup for controlling GPU memory, io_uring-based FUSE, and a driver for AMD NPUs
Can we program the NPU like the cpu?
Btrfs RAID1 reading balancing sounds relevant to me. My desktop involves RAID1 across NVMe SSDs and SATA SSDs. I remember reading this is a supported configuration but I didn't delve deeply into how it would behave behind the scenes.
