Great write up. I switched to a 36 key keyboard a few weeks ago, which means I don’t have the physical space for ctrl/shift/alt/cmd. My typing speed has screeched to a grinding halt, the first few days I was struggling to find many keys, highlighting terrible and horrible typing habits I had picked up over the years.

It’s been a lot of fun re-learning how to type. It has made me much more conscious about how I type. My speed on a regular keyboard hasn’t changed, however it has improved my typing hygiene drastically.

Homerow mods are great!
