It’s also amazingly inclusive. There was a poster here who complained that they were effectively homeless and upset their Pixel phone would no longer hold a charge. Someone offered to send them a used laptop.
I think we thoughtfully discuss issues related to tech, even though we don’t always agree.

My analysis was excellent, thank you very much. I don't run from challenges, I just don't want to derail threads with endless back-and-forth arguments too much. I think generally once two people have said their bit, back-and-forth discussion tends to focus on minor rabbit-hole manner-and-form disagreements rather than anything substantive.
And yes for the record, I stand by the comment I made with the provisos that (1) anything I say is based on what information I have at the time, which might change, (2) opinions and philosophies change over time as well, and (3) nothing I have seen so far has changed my mind on that point.
