If you want your trust/savings to be sustained indefinitely, the rule of thumb is to pay no more than 4% a year. So $500k per student only realistically means $20k per student per year.

This is a Trump policy I can get behind. Do you know how large the endowments of certain private colleges (ahem HYP) are????
