We've worked with dozens of teams building LLM agents across industries. Consistently, the most successful implementations use simple, composable patterns rather than complex frameworks.

This explains the Manus hype. Both why it didn't work (too complex) and why there was so much hype (thinking things had significantly advanced beyond this).

Maybe advancements will make Manus-esque systems functional but for now it seems like adding brittle processes on top of one another.
