Show HN: SuperCMMS: Computerized Maintenance Management System that doesn't suck
CMMS is boring enterprise software.
When something in a factory, office building, restaurant, solar plant, needs maintenance or breaks down, it is the CMMS software that is used to raise a work order and take care of that Asset till it gets well.
CMMS softwares are generally clunky and expensive. Companies still use them because the cost of not using one is the cost of the next breakdown. So it’s better to use a clunky one than nothing at all. And once you start using a CMMS, it becomes really expensive to change it because the switching and re-training costs are too high. So we have unhappy employees struggling every day. ‘Everyone hates their CMMS’ is an industry epithet.
SuperCMMS changes all that. We’ve built the ‘World’s Easiest CMMS’. It is very easy to get started and it’s ‘almost’ free.
