Was Snow Leopard 10.6 the greatest OS X release? (2022)

I think Quick Look was introduced in 10.5. Offhand, can't think of new features since then that I care about. That was almost 18 years ago!

If I thought harder or looked at release notes, I might find something else that I care about in newer versions but nothing seems to have left much of an impression.

> A while back I took the time to upscale and hand correct all of the Mac OS X Snow Leopard 10.6 Nature backgrounds and the Abstract backgrounds to 5k for use on your Mac /iOS device for free download. Enjoy!

Aw man, was really hoping those links would work. Loved the Snow Leopard era.

Perhaps. My favorite was 10.8. At any rate, OSX jumped the shark long ago IMO
