As far as I can tell, there is one government that caused this and one that is a victim. The pressure should be on aggressor to stop, not on the victim.

But like, a) the current trade deal with the Canadians was signed by orange man last time he was in office.

And b) any new deal wouldn’t be worth the toilet paper it’s written on give the Darth Vader school or negotiations being practiced.

I meant that Trump is the aggressor and Canada obvious victim. Sorry for not being clear here.

I got that, the point I’m making is that how can Canada seriously trust any deal the US makes now? Even if they go back to their existing deals, how long will those last before the current president does this again.
