I'm not a fan. To me, this looks like a magazine, not social news. It looks curated, like I'm not meant to interact with it, but merely consume. I closed the tab pretty quickly, and I guess I can put to rest any notion of ever returning to Digg.

I have to agree, I like it. While they certainly have their work cut out for them on re-building the community and on the technical front, this redesign shows a willingness to be different from the other news aggregators. It's popular to hate on digg, but I wish them the best of luck!

...that sounds fantastic to me. I'd read a lot more HuffPo if the pages weren't so laden with crap.
