To be fair I have the exact opposite experience. Talked to stripe support more than once and never even managed to get a single real word out of PayPal

I would recommend avoiding both and only charge without middle man.

Is there where stripe people vent out. You must have been selling something dodgy or not responding to customers, otherwise why would people want to dispute it?

Just seems like fraud as a good explanation. Unless people are showing their website/store and products its so obvious its being misused.

What does you business do? How high was/is the dispute rate?
