I share this because I know that, like me at one point, some people may be one of today's lucky 10,000[0] and learning about EFF.

That they are involved in current politics is no surprise and not the reason I shared -- they are always involved in things that affect the rights of people, especially with regards to privacy and electronic freedom.

Correct. The prior post was flagged under an incorrect assumption that was it was intentionally political. Hence the submission statement to add clarity.

Fair, but there's also lots of recent EFF stories making it to front page that might attract further curiosity.

I don't see any on the front page at the moment -- are there some specifically that come to mind?
