How far back do we have to go to find Google respecting privacy?
They as I recall were once highly thought of and respected, but it was about the year 2000.
Everything since then has been to commercialize and attempt to obscure the fact that privacy invasion has always been at the core of everything they do.
If Google's name is on it, privacy invasion is in it.
In other words, profits over privacy has always been their mantra. Any suggestion otherwise was just part of the ruse and obfuscation.
