The Apple TV app is now available on Android

To clarify, Apple TV was available on Google TV since 2021.[1]

This is adding Apple TV to the Google Play Store on Android, which allows it to be used on Android Phones.

Both the phones and TVs run Android, but they have largely separate app stores. To some degree, Android APKs will install and run on either platform, albeit with UX problems.

It’s also been on Roku for years…

Android is such a mess with their apks though.

Oh jesus was it really not already? I see it on Firestick, just assumed there was an android app.

No wonder it feels like not enough people are watching Severance.
