I met a fired IT guy last night who said he was one of 30k let go.

What company?

From Seattle, a qa guy currently couchsurfing. But didn't ask. He did say META was a shitshow when he worked there in Bellevue.

Sad part is the guy is 44, that's usually the best years.

He didn't know abt HN so told him it might be a jobsearch resource.
