Really keen for this! The talks from the last one were really interesting.
The no-corporate-sponsors fees like a good model too, the previous talks were all detailed, technical talks aimed at the same audience, nice to not be sold to.
I thought this had something to do with "Trad Boys" (tradbois?) like "Trad Wife" ;)
Yeah same, it’s kind of a weird name choice to English speakers - “high trad boy”
I super enjoyed the last installation of this. I think I've watched every talk twice.
I'd love a similar format for a selection of language design talks.
Looks like a great lineup, can't wait!
hell yeah very glad this is back. i watched all the talks from the last one and feel like computing conferences need way more of this energy. a lot of cool ideas and provocations from the previous one still stick with me, and if the program is anything to go by, this one will be similar.
I can't take that logo seriously with that unholy union of a hard drive and a floppy
pseudo vector art with ai image gen artifacts make my eyes unhappy
They work as a team. You need a data storer and a data carrier. (Yes some may say you can simply stream data but I will always carry a backup alongside having cloud version).
Ah damn, now I know why I had the feeling I forgot to hand in an assignment for a while...
