Building a Broker-Free Real Estate Platform in India

I’m working on a broker-free real estate platform in India to eliminate the middlemen who dominate the market and charge excessive commissions. The problem is huge – brokers inflate property prices, create fake demand, and take a cut from both buyers and sellers.

What We’re Building A platform where people can buy, sell, or rent properties directly without needing a broker. Here’s how we plan to do it:

Verified Listings Only – Every property is document-checked and physically inspected by our team before going live. No Broker Commissions – Owners list properties for a small, fixed fee (₹1000-₹2000) instead of paying months of rent in commissions. Direct Contact Between Buyers & Owners – No middlemen, just transparent transactions. Legal Assistance Built-In – Rent agreements, police verification, sale registration – all handled within the platform. Where We’re Starting We plan to launch in Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Kolkata, Kochi, and Pune, and expand from there.

Looking for Advice & Help Tech Stack Recommendations – Best way to handle large-scale property listings & verifications? Growth Strategies – How do we scale a marketplace that requires both property owners and buyers to adopt it? Operational Challenges – What should we consider while setting up physical verification teams? Would love to hear your thoughts! If you've worked on marketplaces, real estate, or scaling a platform in India, your insights would be super valuable.
