OTOH, European history features many centuries of the powerful (generally the high-functioning, hard-working, and aggressive nations) bullying the weak (the opposite) into complying with the wishes of the former.
I've seen occasional calls for European nations to actually adopt some of the virtues of the historically powerful. But outside of Russia and its current and obviously-next victims, I've not heard of real interest in heeding those calls.
For instance, most critical/utility/dominant(shooping with amazon)/state web sites should interop with noscript/basic (x)html browsers... like they were a few years ago...
