Closed infrastructure makes EVs worse than ICE vehicles. I can fuel my ICE vehicle at any fuel station, I should be able to charge my EV at any charging station.
Tesla chargers have been open to all EVs in Europe for years now, including Kias:

All Electrify America stations charge all EVs, including Teslas. Tesla can lift its game in North America.

Kia was supposed to have access in North America by now so Tesla must have enabled it according to the original timelines and not the revised timelines.
The restrictions are artificial. Kias have been able to use Tesla chargers in Europe for years. It works because it's all CCS. NACS is CCS with the J3400 plug.
Interestingly enough, I was trying to figure out which of the two cyrillic transliteration was the “officially” accepted one, so I went to their russian wikipedia page[0]. To my surprise, I wasn’t able to find the answer, as all mentions of the company/brand name on that page were in english only.
