AI is not going to kill software industry, but is there still a software industry?

Or, rather, is there any non-software industry left?

That's like asking "is there a building industry" just because every industry uses buildings. Every (well, most) industries use software; but the production of that software is itself an industry.

Is there a taxi industry?

There certainly used to be one in the past, but where I live now, each taxi fleet is owned by what used to be a "software company".

There's still a difference between sales and retail, investment and finance, and between software and tech.
