Doctorow Has the Best Idea for How Canada Should Retaliate to Trump's Tariffs

Every scenario for Canadian "retaliation" makes weird and inaccurate assumptions about Canadian capacity and capabilities.

Canada has hollowed out its economy and reduced itself to real estate Ponzi schemes or exporting raw resources. Otherwise there is nothing. Canada put itself in this situation and instead of torching Trump, Canadians should be torching their own government for pursuing identity politics and virtue signalling over real national development.

Bullies seize on weakness. Canada is an easy target.
