The comp.risks Digest SSL cert expired nearly a year ago
catless.ncl.ac.uk
catless.ncl.ac.uk
Apparently the wheels have been coming off for some months now.
The page now returns an SSL cert error noting amongst other information, at the link I've submitted:
Certificate Validity
Not Before: Feb 7 00:00:00 2023 GMT
Not After: Feb 7 23:59:59 2024 GMT
Wikipedia still points to catless.ncl.ac.uk as the host of the digest:<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RISKS_Digest>
Any contacts at Newcastle University know what's going on there?
(I've also contacted SRI and PGN's presumed email address.)
However if I navigate directly to <https://catless.ncl.ac.uk/Risks/> I get the SSL cert issue.
(Ongoing discussions with the admin.)
<https://risks.org> is broken. The expired cert on that system in Newcastle has been going on for almost a year, and Lindsay Marshall can do nothing because he has retied, and the admins there have been asleep at the wheel. Poke Lindsay. I can do nothing.
I've since poked Marshall (not the actress) as suggested.
