> Exercise should be thought of as a 'drug'
I find it very interesting, that Ghrelin levels are afected by enery balance…
Does that mean that when there is a deficit, it rises? Also because of it’s linking with the reward system, exercise can set endorphins free (or something, it seems), which regulates appetite.
Did you know that ghrelin was only discovered in 1999? Even most physicians don't know about it. This is an exciting period for research into exercise and nutrition and health - as well as an exciting time for biohackers.
You know, 25 years is a lot of time of research, and if you (or I in this case?!) work in a laboratory doing exactly that kind of research, you can learn something. Having lunchbeveryday withblots of MD and PhD in the field… ask me how I know…
Or people can also learn by not thinking they know everything, and listen to people that know better… but I digress… good luck!
You are clearly far more brilliant than I. Good luck with your "loose weight"!
