I don't even understand the point of this. Either you're too young to even understand what porn is, or you're old enough to view it. There is, to me, no age where a minor is old enough to desire pornographic content but not old enough to not be scarred by it.

What are teenagers, a demographic with an insatiable appetite for sexual gratification, even supposed to do? My grandpa was probably wanking it to a Macy's catalogue as a teenager. Denying or trying to suppress it is not gonna have the outcomes people want.

Yeah, porn just messes up the kids view of how relationships, sex should work like.

Porn can be very addictive, especially for a developing teenagers.

So is tiktok. And sugar. And video games. And a thousand other things people are exposed to. I'm all for regulation of harmful and addictive substances and its exposure to children/adolescents, but porno is pretty low on the list of "things fucking up kids that need to be regulated"

As humanity devolves towards unconsciousness, it retreats instinctively into obsession with the purity of the community. Institutions, laws, and ideals are bent into weapons to enforce that purity; any that cannot be are swept aside.

50 years ago corner stores in NYC sold playboy and penthouse (and cigarettes) to middle schoolers.

Mores and cultures shift and change.

As long as perspective is kept and the current generation is not 1000% sure that their way is the only way and all who have gone before were wicked and wrong...

Then it should be ok as things like this go in cycles.
