So along with older "don't show our ads next to Nazis" problems, companies ought to be concerned that their entire corporate presence on ExTwitter might be hijacked if they somehow become a target of a man-child's caprice.
won the capitalism, richest man in the world (by wide margin) spending time arguing with his peasants on twitter… just a deeply disturbed person - his ills have no cure but it is entertaining to watch all the “freedom of speech” morons finally getting a clue who they are dealing with. ballparking he’ll rejoin democratic party no later than January 18th or thereabouts :)
1. Most of his "freedom of speech" supporters were really just "do whatever liberals dislike" all along, so they'll stick around.
2. There's no reason for Musk to switch his advocacy and mega-donations to another party any time soon. He hasn't even started cashing-out on his influence-buying. Infighting over H1B policies is nothing compared to stuff like getting Tesla vehicles special exceptions for safety rules, favorable SpaceX government contracts, or shaping tariff policy to his benefit.
I don’t know that we’ll see a 25th amendment, but I do think the power structure is shifting from working class /populist MAGA to tech elite MAGA.
> When Elon Musk came to the White House asking me for help on all of his many subsidized projects, whether it's electric cars that don't drive long enough, driverless cars that crash, or rocketships to nowhere, without which subsidies he'd be worthless, and telling me how he was a big Trump fan and Republican, I could have said, "drop to your knees and beg," and he would have done it...
I doubt either of them forgot about it. Smarter men than Musk were dropped by Trump before.
Apparently that's a mirror Musk doesn't want to look in.
