Want to Remember Everything You Learn? Surrender to This Algorithm (2008)

This seems very similar to Anki; is this what Anki’s algorithm is based on?

I’ve been using Anki for a while and can confirm it work extremely well

I’ve also created an open source extension for Raycast as well which makes Anki even more convenient to use:

TLDR spacing out the time when you are asked to recall things helps you remember (recall) them better. There’s an app called supermemo to help with this.

Since the article’s from 2008, you may be wondering what happened to this software, so supermemo is available on the App Store, but is focused on language and not incredibly popular, there’s also a desktop version for windows 10. Anki decks offer the same spaced repetition learning as well and seem to have become more popular so may serve as a replacement.

This is about spaced repetition and the Supermemo spacing algorithm.
