Not really. At the end of the process with X Musk still wanted a working social media site; at the end of process of cutting $2 trillion from the budget Musk doesn't care if the government works or not.
How thick is the ice that Elon Musk is on. At some point he’s going to impact an agency that someone who matters (I.e. a Republican) cares about. Not that money doesn’t matter, but is there something more substantial then money keeping Musk on trump’s good side?
