Ask HN: Join My Fintech Journey as a Co-Founder

1 pointlogotype4 comments

I'm looking for a co-founder (either business-oriented or technically inclined) to join me in scaling FIXParser https://fixparser.dev, a profitable company that provides a TypeScript npm library designed to help trading firms automate and streamline FIX message workflows.

I'm based in London as the solo founder of the business, and I'm looking for a capable partner who shares the same vision to collaborate and achieve great results in this space.

Our product is already in the market and generating revenue, but we have ambitious plans for growth. We’re aiming to raise venture capital in the near future to accelerate development and expand our platform. There are plenty of exciting opportunities, including integrating AI-driven features to enhance the product and further differentiate ourselves in the fintech space.

If you’re passionate about fintech, automation, and AI, and are excited about joining a profitable startup with huge potential, let’s talk! My email is victor@logotype.se

You might want to specify the location, expectations, your current team size ... etc.

Positive things:

- Checking your npm and GitLab, you already have downloads (8k+/month).

- Open Source (for the free version).

A few things to improve:

- No social links; for example, I couldn't find any trace of your company on LinkedIn.

- Your company name does not show in the UK Companies House search.

Good luck!

Hey, thanks a lot! I updated the post. I have kept a low profile hence no social / traces online except the website for now. Next year i'll dive into this full-time and will definitively work on social media and growing the platform. The business has a different legal name, but will change it in due course. Have a great friday and thanks for reaching out, I really appreciate it!

Why do you want a cofounder instead of an employee?

How much equity are you planing to give?

I'm looking for a co-founder for a few key reasons. First, raising capital as a solo founder has proven to be challenging. Second, I need a partner who shares the vision and has the capability to help drive the company in the right direction. Regarding equity, it’s definitely flexible and will depend on various factors, but I’m open to discussion.
